A discussion on who has been marginalised or hurt by the Baptist Church, and how we can help them.
There are many great churches out there and great people, but we all need to recognise and repent of the ways we have hurt others, perhaps without even thinking. Do our services exclude others? Why? How? If Jesus came to support everyone, why is the church so middle class and risk averse at times? How have we allowed business and corporate thinking to forget individuals, and how have we used it in positive and inclusive ways? How can we help Baptist hierarchy to listen to the oppressed and recognise the harm they can cause? How do we help others listen to the cry of the exclused and badly treated?
